2001 TC29D...While mowing, it began to bog down...pushed in clutch...waited about a minute while it stumbled and stuttered, then it was fine again for about 5 minutes...keeps doing this...grass is not unusually high...fuel tank is about 1/2 full...mowing with a Woods RD7200 rear-mounted finishing mower.

I'm the second owner of this tractor and have only put around 100 hours on it since I bought it last summer. All I've done to this point is clean the chaff off the radiator screen. After I saw your question, I checked the air filter (OK) and fuel filter...oops! Not so clean...replace it with a new one and the tractor runs like new! Amazing how that works...

Thank you guys for your quick responses.

JK

When is the last time you changed your fuel filter(s)?

Run some diesel fuel conditioner and maybe algaecide in the tank. You can also remove the fuel line to the fuel filter bowl inlet and see that it has a 'full' flow---if not, blow hard on the line and then see if it cleared some contaminates and flows freely. This lack of full fuel flow is common and causes problems.
