Treadal pedal was not coming back to neutral position and was creeping forward or reverse. Adjusted bracket under steering column, creeping stopped but very slow in reverse.
I did remove boot on spring mechanism and added more tension, is this reason for slower reverse?

The following attachment might help. I'm assuming you did not adjust the rear stop for the treadle (#2 on the second page)?
