OneMarineE5 said:Think you said this quite well RobertN. I for one have a dry-sense of humor and have on more than one occasion met someone who I previously only knew thru email, who told me they were relieved that I was not arrogant or dogmatic as they perceived me to be in the absence of facial expressions, expressions that clearly told them otherwise.
I hope I learned from that and adjusted accordingly. It would be quite humiliating to be a member of some ignore list. However, I like to think most TBNrs' are of substantial character to point something out what may be questionable in an effort to give someone a chance to clarify theirself. I doubt that I'm wrong on that!
That wasn't too forceful was it
Hey jayste....love your signature(s)
Is this where I can tell you to go pack sand like a good Marine?
Whatcha think Leatherneck?
That may make sense depending on when you were on active duty.....

Do or Die!
This is a good place to say this I suppose.
I have been a member here for five years or so and don't post often, but when I do you can take whatever advice I give as the gospel. I know this is true because I asked my wife.
Now seriously, consider this, isn't there something about a man sitting on a tractor that makes what he has to say just a tad bit more believable?

Yeah..
It was just one semi old Marine trying to give you a little bit of grief....

...As usual.
I like this site. I have gained a lot of knowledge. I've gained a lot of courage too. I've said it before, but I'm more willing to dive into a new project knowing that help is available if I need it.
I've often considered myself to be the Kevin O'Conner (from This Old House) of TBN. I'm the naive new kid that asks all the questions so that others can answer them and elighten the viewing public. Lucky for me there are a lot of Norm's and Tommy's out there to fill in the blanks of what I don't know.
Dang Marlowe, that was funny. I think the name for the new sarcastic font/icon should be named after you! "Marlowe"
And your second paragraph is rather believable too
