Have you looked at the 4035 replacement the 3540? It comes in a cabbed version also. The 35 series is their premium line and the 10 is a more basic workhorse. I haven't seen a 35 series cab yet, but being the premium line of compact utility tractors I'd have to think it is a bit nicer.

I agree with Sysop, if you like the 4035, then get that model with a cab, the 3540.

With only 13 acres, my guess is that you log less than 100 hours/year seat time on your tractor. In the summer, do your work in the morning before the heat shows up. In the winter, bundle up. Use the cab money for something else.

You can always get an after market cab later on if you regret it. that was my thought but I didn't want to keep opening the door every time I had to chain a log or something, hop on-hop off. Trees are are problem for me. If I ever get to use it in snow I may buy one but no need now.
