Is the rebate in real money or a merchandise cash back, like Menards does? Must have missed that, I need to go look and see if there is a coupon at the store.

Check my edit, Shell has a request feature for the rebate and it is good into November if the retail outlet is participating.

Come to think of it I almost missed the rebate as well because they were not placed by the 2.5 gallon jugs. but then saw it by the 1 gallon jugs. Oh and yes, Real money

For anyone else that likes the T6, probably about as good as it will get for a while @ just under $4 a quart.

I paid about $123 for 4 jugs of 2.5 gal T6 a few months ago

I recently found 3 gallon cases of T5 at our local BJ's for $30, or $10/gallon. I bought all 10 cases they had in stock. I normally run T6 15w-40 but couldn't turn down a deal like that. It turns out someone had priced them incorrectly, the sale price plus another 50% off at the register.

Update on the Shell rebate , they are playing games with the wording.
I bought 3 2.5 gallon jugs and they only rebated forty, of $60

If you want to maximize the rebate They only honor "2" container purchases So buy 5 gallon ones instead of smaller containers.
