Took down this Hackberry tree this weekend. Dug out around it & the pushed it over with the Case Ih Farmall 125A.

Here's a video of it going over.

Nice thanks for sharing. How do you like that tree stumper blade? Looks like a skid steer variant on a QA mount? I am thinking about one myself so I dont wear out my backhoe.

Nice!

That's about the only thing I miss about my old IH2500b... it could drive up a tree and push it over with ease. Had to watch for the roots coming up under the tractor and limiting the front off the ground.

Like the stump bucket. This was the 1st time using it on the tractor, I normally use it on a skid steer.

The edge is sharp between the teeth & cut easily through most roots.

It's pretty heavy duty built at about 1/2" thick.

Sweet ! That is a serious tree. TU for sharing. I just pushed over a bunch of smaller trees (8" to 12" dia) but had to do it the old fashion way by just pushing them over with the bucket raised up 6' or so. I should have grabbed a video of that but I had no idea they would fall so fast and easy with my new beast (NH 54D Boomer). GV

Cut the trees from the stump this afternoon and pulled it out of the way.

It was about 11' in circumference & the largest of the 3 trunks was about 23" x 28".

The smallest was 12" & the 3rd was 17" in the smallest diameter. 20181029_174603.jpeg20181029_174323.jpeg

So wait a minute.......you were able to yank these stumps out of the ground? Did you get rid of most of the roots first ? GV

Dug around the tree with a stump bucket, cut the roots & then pushed the tree over.

This was 3 trunks growing on one stump.
