T574 Seat Cushion Replacement?

I am looking at a TYM T574. The lower seat cushion has to be replaced. I have not found it online. The entire seat costs $1270, and people say TYM's seats are not great.

Is there a good aftermarket seat cusion that will fit? I don't think TYM offers the cushion by itself.

I’d take a look at Vevor aftermarket seats, have two of them and they work great. Around $250-350 and are adjustable with suspension and arm rests.

Thanks. A dealer just got back to me, and TYM does not sell seat cushions. Unbelievable. A tractor is supposed to go 4,000 hours in hard conditions, but the seat falls apart at 500, and you're supposed to pay $1300 every time it fails.

Have you seen the seats they put in the TYM made Badboy tractors? they look nice, I would investigate how much one of those are and just upgrade.

I just saw a $1400 Bad Boy seat on the web.

I guess this is one of the ways in which tractor manufacturers make money on the sly. They design seats to fail and then refuse to sell parts.

The seat on my T233 was bad. I pulled the seat and went to tractor supply, and bought a generic replacement with the same mounting bolt pattern. Works great, the only issue is that it is just enough wider than the stock seat, that the seat belt is difficult to latch. Other than that no issues.

My experience is that TYM is not really good at customer support!

I've been tempted to just upgrade to the bad boy seat, without my seat going bad.
When I sat in it at a dealer it was that much nicer.

That’s what I would do. Take the seat to an auto upholstery shop. Should be a simple job for those shops.
