That sounds familiar. I've got a 27" Panasonic that is 5 years old that is acting up. Just recently replaced it with a 60" Hitachi LCD Projection. I had someone tell me (the guy that came to fix the 60" Panasonic project that we first bought and ended up taking back) that the vertical sync was loose on the Panasonic causing our problem. I've soldered everything in it, but it seems as though I'm still have a problem with the front AV jacks. If the picture goes out now I can push on them and it'll come back on. I've also created a little problem with my soldering. Now anytime the TV displays any info (time, volume, channel) on the TV we won't have sound, as soon as that goes off sound is fine. I thinks me has something touchin' /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif It is supposed to rain the next couple of nights so I might try another approach at fixin' as I like playing the Playstation2 on it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Otherwise, with everything changing in the TV world, I don't think it is worth getting fixed. Heck you can go to Wally World and get new ones for <$200. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif - that is both good and bad all at the same time.
