That’s a better place. There could be variations with the ECU output for the size of the hydraulic cylinders. Maybe you can adjust the amount to vary the control by hand. There could also be travel limits or other sensor information to the ECU.
Yes there is one sensing switch on the telescope and I can't figure out what it does. It's a NO/NC switch pair that changes state when the telescope extends, and the ECU monitors it. I'm guessing it's some part of the safety system. I'm going to ask the dealer if they can find out what it does.
