Is there a supressor for a 10/22? Have you seen or used one?

Use the CCI CB Shorts. All you hear is the click and then what ever it hits.
just have to find a dealer with a class 3 FFL, then fill out the 2 page form, get 2 sets of finger prints, have your chief LEO sign the form, send the form in with finger prints and money orders to cover the application and the tax stamp, one copy goes to BATFE, the other to the FBI.. in about 90 days you either get a 'go' or a 'no go' and if a 'go' the paperwork comes back and the FFL dealer xfers the NFA device to you along with the paperwork. It's called a form 4 tax paid transfer. 100% legal since the act came into law in about 1934/1935 ( and amended some 30 or so years ago.. )..

If you run into a problem that the LEO won't sign, you can also use a family trust. This may eliminate transfer to heir problems later.
Quite a few options actually.. you can also get a DA or judge from your area to sign, or as you say, find a way to form a SOT ( corporation works fine as well ).. and that precludes the LEO signoff.
