Crows, coyotes, and squirrels are all classified as small game by the hunting regs and have seasons and rules for them. The little red chipmunks are even protected despite them breaking in and living in your home as rodents.

There are lots of rules that are meant to be broken, the speed limit for instance, which I broke on the way to work today.

Stupid laws - why are there so many of them?

States' rights VS Fed rights, I suppose. Sometimes it is a bad thing that we cannot apply laws across states and other times it is a good thing. It goes both ways.

Driver's licenses are good across all states. Concealed carry are not. Different emissions laws, sales taxes, property taxes, etc... a long list of differences and similarities between states.
