Support spacing for pole barn structure

My Cleary is built on 9' spacings. I would have preferred 8' but I have seen wider spacings.

your going to end up, needing a permit.
pay the fee for an engineer to write off on a plan.

i know you do not want to here above, "neither do i", but... the engineer, most likely will require correct amount of spacing, to deal with any sort of wind load, snow load, posts in ground, etc..., etc.... and get you a plan to go from.

Huh, I have a who is an architect. I'll see what he says. I can draw up the plans in AutoCAD then see what the city says.
