Super S Premium Hydraulic Tractor Fluid

About to do the 50 hr service on my Kioti DK 45 HST, My Wife picked me up 15 Gallons of Super S Premium Hydraulic Tractor Fluid.
Any experience with this oil? SUPER S PREMIUM UNIVERSAL J20C TRACTOR HYDRAULIC FLUID: Smitty's Supply, Inc.

It seems to be kind of a grey area whether or not to do the Hyd at 50.
Whaduya think about this oil?

I have been using the generics since I owned tractors. I did service my RTV with Kubota oil since it only took 3 gallons. I have 10 gallons of Super S waiting for my next hydraulic service. I wont be buying the expensive Kubota or Amsoil for any future oil needs. It says it meets the specs for Super UDT and about 20 others including most of the major brands of tractors so why pay double or triple for the dealer fluid. My Kubota dealer's service manager said that any oil that meets the Kubota specs will perform satisfactorily and not cause any damage to the system. ONLY reason to use dealer oil might be for warranty and even then, I would think that they would fall under the same clause in our warranty laws that they couldn't deny a claim if you use a "or equal" oil. Auto dealers bit the bullet on this in the 60's or early 70's when a class action lawsuit was filed against them for insisting that warranty is void if you didn't use their dealership brand oils and if you notice, they only show SAE class of oils now and not Ford, GM, Honda etc branded oils.

The Super S data sheet advised it is a SAE 30 fluid. The original spec oil that Kioti had was a 10w-30. I think you'd be fine except for very cold temps.

I didn't even think about the Hyd being a multi grade, your right it does state on the Super S sheet that it is a sae30.
I think I will take it back. We do get good and cold in the winter, I just bought 5-40 Rotella T6 for the motor today for just that reason, no sense putting strait 30 in the hyd.

I use NAPA premium hydraulic fluid. It is easy to get and has outstanding specs. It out specs some of the big name brands.

I do. It was the Kioti Dealer Den which requires a Dealer Log in and pass word. Somebody left the door open.
