super c hydraulics

my super c has a farmhand loader on it. it has never worked right. it was my grandfathers tractor and his brother said it did not work right when they bought it used. the hydraulic pressure is intermittent, sometimes it works flawlessly for a half hour and sometimes it works for a minute and then it doesn't. I have been thru the pump and filter. thinking the safety valve and or spring in the block, sound right?

I used to own a C. The hydraulic unit never worked but had a separate pump with hard lines going to it. Could you unhook those pipes and connect your vales to it??

it's plumbed right, like I said, when it works it works.

My best thought would be that either your valve your cylinders but I'm no expert.

swapped the valve out with another, same thing. cylinders are bad but that is not the problem. I ordered a oring and gasket set for the touch control block, my guess is I will find something in there bad or broken.
