What aftermarket Sunshades are folks using, I think I will try this one out and see how it is, anyone else have this style and make of sunshade.

I have an orange one for my Kioti. Got it in 2006 I think.
Enjoyed it for several years until I decided to park tractor in the shed and had to remove due to height.
Just yesterday, I completely disassembled, brushed, sanded, repainted all the metal parts, replaced all the rusted bolts with SS. Put it back together today and will remount after this storm (Erick). Am selling the Kioti and will include the TuffTop canopy. Was tempted to put it on my LS, but decided against trying to paint the orange plastic.
I’d buy a new one for the LS but having problems with the shipping, either seller won’t ship or charges a fortune.

Mine is molded fiberglass. Purchased from the Kubota dealer. I find it helps on the really hot days with bright sun.

Krylon makes a good rattle can paint for plastic, I used it on a few plastic outdoor chairs I have and it’s held up pretty good and I leave them outside 24/7 365.
Shipping can be a pain to the island for sure, a friend of mine sends me Kona coffee beans once in awhile.

I looked at a fiberglass sunshade but this was almost half the cost and if it works I can buy some grab hooks for the bucket with the money I save. Always like a deal as long as it’s a good deal.

I'm looking at the same Tuff Top for my Yanmar. Seems like a good value for the price. Heavier units get spendy quick. I found one at a different vendor for $209 + shipping. Unfortunately they have been out of stock for months. If the don't receive stock soon I will be ordering from All States Ag. All states price total (+shipping or "free")Tuff Top.JPG is the same whether you go direct to their site or A.com.

So over all it has been a good sunshade for you? I pickup my GC1705 up this Saturday at the dealer and when I get it home the sunshade is going on asp.

Yup, only took it off because of height, couldn’t get thru 8ft door.
Seriously looking to put one on my LS but so far shipping is a killer so might have to find alternative.

I had a Tuff Top, but I didn't like it. It added to the overall height, so my tractor wouldn't fit under my carport, and it vibrated badly when I was driving around. It eventually developed a split in the plastic along the leading edge. This made it catch every twig that brushed past it. It eventually caught one and bent the brackets pretty bad. I since bought a metal one from Wells Ag Company. It was more expensive but is far superior. I wish I went with the Wells in the first place. Personally, I'd steer clear of plastic or fiberglass, unless you're sure you won't catch any limbs.

Jim.

What I have on my open station M9. Disregard the reviews about difficult assembly. Didn't even bother to read the instructions, just used the exploded drawing on the second page. Took my wife and I about 30 minutes total from shipping box to tractor. You'd have to be a moron not to be able to assemble it. Quality powder coated struts and all the nuts are nylocks. I did add stainless steel fender washers under the bolt heads where they go through the top. Only modification I did.

Been on the tractor all summer and is just fine for haying. Keeps the sun off my hairless head. Right color for me as well, Kubota orange.

I recommend it.

Folds down for trailering or you can take it off easily.

Interesting. Mine don't shake or vibrate at all. Far as hitting stuff, my other tractor is a cab M9 so I'm always cognizant of height. If you put the 2 side by side, it's no higher than my cab tractor

I put washers on the top where the 4 bolts go through where it bends over on the sides and attaches to the small brackets.

If you are bald (like me), will keep your bald pate from getting sunburned. I like mine (canopy, not bald head)....:D

as you can see, I don't worry about a car port or a garage door not that my tractors would fit in a garage anyway.

TuffTop for me. Totally pleased. Only taken off once to trailer it. Bends enough to get under/past smaller low hanging branches, no rattle or vibration. Does the job for me.
