One of the most versatile tools that can be used with a compact tractor is a Grapple. For those that own one, most would say that they use the grapple more than the loader bucket itself.
Grapples are perfect for picking up and moving a wide range of material from Point A to Point B; from heavy brush, logs, rocks & boulders to a wide range of organic and man-made objects. There is virtually no limit to the kind of work they do and no compact or utility tractor is complete without one.
The Summit GX Series Grapples are made in the USA and feature dual hydraulic cylinders, protected sleeve hydraulic hoses, gusseted teeth, heavy duty A50 steel (GX54) or GR50 steel (GX60, 72, 84), laminated and serrated tines, powder coat finish and greaseable pins. Available for both Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) and John Deere Quick Attach (JDQA) equipped front-end loaders.
If a tractor has a 3rd function hydraulic valve and either a SSQA (both standard on all Summit Brand Tractors) or JDQA equipped front end loader, then it is ready to put a grapple to work.
