4shorts, what is that on the rear of your tractor; or are you just backed up against it?
Looks like a homemade Zamboni
On the Kubota Build Your Own site:
1 FRONT WEIGHT BOLT KIT$6.00
1 FRONT WEIGHT BRACKET$103.00
1 FRONT SUITCASE WEIGHT$71.00
I believe the weights are 55lb ea. but I'd call the local kubota dealer to confirm that.
I just got some weights from Lowes
42lbs for $53 tax included. So $126 per lb.
Vs Kubota weights
55lbs for $71 ?? tax. So $1.29 per lb.

I'm guessing you don't want green weights, but they are even less expensive at 47$ for the 42lbs weight
They are 55lbs each.
Obviously you've had this working for a while now, but I dug out a BX18/2200 manual that I'm mailing this afternoon to another member. I opened it to a random page this morning and it talked about ballast. I believe it said 275 lbs max. You are at 550 with 10 of them. Are you at all concerned about the front end on this rig?
I should have thought over that question before I even posted it. Duh! The loader is 400 lbs and they lift more than 175 lbs. I guess maybe that's a limit for the stock weight holder. And nothing you've touched is stock.
So I guess I'm happy too.
