Yes, the orange dye would be great, to check fluid levels. It's a mystery why it is sold in clear. But again, last quote I got on Chevron UTF it was MORE money than the Kubota branded stuff. I'm sure it is a great product.
@TripleR- I'm right with ya. We share a very similar perspective. Used to have a saying, back in the day, Oil is Oil. Within reason, there's lots of truth there.
When we were young we were told the same thing, but being young and better educated and naturally "smarter" than everyone else as the young always are, we "knew" better.
My father in law was a bulk distributor for Simpson, Sinclair then ARCO and he said the same thing, but hey what did he know; heck he was old then; late forties at least.:laughing:
