So, going to Rockauto.com let's look at that PH3985 and see how well of a cross reference we get With all the details above, the FRAM is a no-no because the micron rating is too fine and the flow will be much slower in the engine. The engine will starve for oil circulation.
Yeah i dont think it works like that. What if the filter gets plugged? Bypas exists so no possibilty of "starvation"
This is same filter my New Holland uses. Wix 51348 is filter I use insteadI guess my brain is a bit slow today. I'm on https://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/convert/NEW-HOLLAND/84475542 and there isn't a big choice. If I choose the Fram, I get many different filters. Why dont they come up when I search The NH part number?

I have figured a work around for that.Some people look really hard for reasons to try to get offended.
