Hi hope someone can shed some light on a minor issue i am having with my Leyland384 (1971). I usually leave my block on the rear linkage up and locked for long periods of time when using the front loader. But recently like today, i put the block down, and now have lost all hydraulic power? The block will not lift and the front loader will not operate? I have only had the machine a year, no problems like this before? Any help appreciated.

Does your hyd flow go through the loader valve first?
Have you checked the level in the hyd tank.
Have you installed a gage and checked any pressure. If your pump is not working, you will not have any.
Have you lost your prime?
Are there any air bubbles in the fluid?
Do you hear any relief valves screeching?

I think it may be a problem with the PTO control lever, maybe a little cranky seeing as first time i used it since getting the tractor. When in hydraulic mode and brake off, the loader and rear linkage work ok, any other position neither work. I will test the system when the weather breaks and post back findings, thanks for the input.
