Stump Grapple ?

Can I use this on my CT235 using the rear remote? Will I need different control for it than just what I already have for the rear remote (a & b control)? I am thinking to run the hose to the front and make the quick coupling connections from there. Any advise is appreciated.

If you are planning on using that to dig stumps out..I would say good luck with that.
I think you will be waisting your time and money...I think I would sink the money into renting a mini excavator for the week end before I would buy that especially if you plan to do more than 3 stumps a day!

Yes, you can run a set of hoses from the back of the tractor to the grapple to run the cylinder. It will work just fine. I did it that way for several years with my prior Kubota 3710. My current JD has factory hoses and hard lines to the front but it still plugs into the back hydraulic outlet.

I think what Wallace is trying to say, is the FEL and your tractor may not have enough lift/power to remove a stump from the ground. Depends on the stump and ground conditions. Smaller pines and cedars may not be an issue. The grapple will be really helpful in picking up the stumps, brush, logs ect.

I have a stump bucket and use it for removing landscaping projects like popping shrubs and bushes out of the ground. I hardly use it now that I have a backhoe.

I have a CT450 it wont pop out stumps and it will lift 3000lbs with the loader. Its move of a leverage thing, heck my backhoe takes time to remove stumps plus its extremely hard on a machine im my opinion.

i quit trying to remove them, now i just rent a stump grinder for the weekend about $150. and grind them down sub surface. not much backfilling that way
