My 265MF has now jammed the trans on me twice this season. I've been able to pull the cover off and get the forks aligned without much effort, but I was just wondering what I could to eliminate the need to carry a long screwdriver with me. Is this a problem with the shifter or the forks? We used to a have an old farmall that would do this and it turned out to be a worn shifter.

Its the same problem with lots the shifter does wear out. What I've done is to pull the shifter and build the end up a bit by welding it.I build it up with weld ever so little maybe 1/8 " all around and it gets rid of the problem. If you do build it up too much you'll know because you won't beable to shift,if thats the caase just grind a bit off.Larry
