I'm replacing hoses on KJubota b21 FEL TL421. Couple of the metal pipes, that cross over the bucket to connect the cylinders, are bent from past abuse.

Wondering what a good way to "unbend" those pipes might be. I managed some of the smaller "warps" by hand and replaced a pipe that was seriously dented.
If I try that with the one that is a bit more seriously bent, I fear kinking it or weakening it to the point of failure. None of the benders I have are big enough for
these pipes.

Was thinking that taking a block of hard wood, drilling a hole close to pipe OD, then ripping the wood "long ways", then clamping the pipe in the "clam shell" might
work well enough.

Just trying to be "cost effective" here.

I suspect that it's stainless steel tubing. Unless you use a tubing bender with handles that give you some leverage and control, you're likely to kink it.

I had a section of tubing break on a Kubota. The dealer wanted a small fortune for the OEM pre-bent pipe. I ended up putting it back together with a short piece of stainless tubing and two Swagelock couplings. Those couplings aren't cheap, but still much less than the Kubota part.

Sorry. No input on the wood clam-shell approach. Good luck with it.

My Deere lines got seriously bent. I just bent them slowly back in to place. Kinking happens bending to fast, my experience.
Then I used plenty of large zip ties.
