Storage on 4100

I was looking around for a place to put a small box to put things like the garage door opener remote, a pair of gloves, chain saw screwdriver/wrench, etc., and found a nice opening under the seat. I cut a metal gallon coleman gasoline can in half lengthwise, taped over the sharp edges and it drops right in that opening. If it really works like I think it will, I may make a wooden box with a lid to fit right in there.

I also mounted about a foot long piece of 1 1/2" PVCC pipe vertically under the bolt heads of the warning light on one side as a place to carry my loppers.

I haven't taken a picture, but I could if anyone would like to see what I did.

does this interfere with the safety swith under the seat?

forestcreature, here's the pic. No, the "box" is flush with the top of the framework and doesn't interfere with anything. Note that the safety bail is laying flat on top of box.
