Steering wheel tilt

I've run into my first issue with my LS 3037 H I've had it for a little less than a year now and my wife uses it to cut the grass sometimes and she is a lot smaller than me so she tilts the steering wheel down. I got on it the other day and go to tilt steering wheel back up it won't lock anymore it just kind of floats up and down my question is is that an easy fix? And it should it be covered under warranty?

It is a friction lock, so there should be some sort of adjustment on it to increase the friction. You will need to remove some plastic?maybe metal in order to get to it though.
