Here we go. The rage blades are rated for 4000rpm. If you have a 1" arbor, stick it in your chop saw and go. They don't have a 10" blade, an 8.25" will have to do.

My experience with these carbide tipped metal cutting blades is that speed kills (the blade). A 14" abrase chop saw turns much too fast for these blades. The 14" carbide blades are designed to run at 1000 - 1450 RPM.

I am going to be "that guy" - I bought the harbor freight metal cutting circular saw for about $60 with the metal cutting blade and it has worked great!!! Even cut some 1/2 plate (more than I think you are supposed to cut). used it for several projects and to be honest if it blew up tomorrow I can say I got my moneys worth out of it and would get another one. It was cheap especially with a blade although it is a bit ugly.......

ME TOO! cannot beat it for the money. Made lots of angle cuts on 1/4" x 4" flat stock and could not believe it. Great for the money but best bet to buy with 20% off coupon. I got my money out of it already!

Even the blade that came with it has held up really well. I would have expected to had to replace it by now but it is still going strong!

Got a Milwaukee metal saw here a while back. It's rated for up to 3/4" plate and so far has done a great job for me. The thickest thing I have cut so far was 1/2" AR 400. It went thru it about as easy as cutting plywood with a skil saw. Very handy tool to have for just over $300.
