Very hard to advise from here. If the engine has been sitting that long that the engine is that gummed up, you could have rust in the cylinders, the starter may be just marginal and needs rebuilding, you may have put too much diesel in the cylinders that when you put the injectors in, the pistons are hydro-locking. Pull all the injectors and turn the engine over to expel any fluid that may be on top of the pistons.
Were the injector tips rusty when you first pulled them?
You may have to pull the head to see what you are dealing with.
You may get away with pulling the injectors and turning the engine over with the starter to polish up the cylinder walls, cross your fingers and hope for the best. When you said on of the valves was stuck, this leads me to believe that there is quite a bit of condensation in the engine and rust in the cylinders.
No way to tell what you have from here and no idea how much you want to spend to really give you good advise.
Also, I wouldn't spend money on the starter until I knew what condition the engine is in.

In this case, the OP says that he has no solenoid, so he is manually engaging the Bendix
I got it_ the solenoid had nothing to do with engaging the bendix, the same voltage applied to the starter terminals accomplishes the same thing.
That bendix is nothing special, there are numerous engines that use that type starter solenoid
All he has to do it take that picture to any auto parts store and ask for one.

Hey
Thanks for the advice . So i took the head off to check the pistons and cylinders and the only rust is was just a little ring at the top of each cylinder so i wiped and cleaned everything and put the head back on without the injectors in and turned the engine over and it spun at a good speed like normal starting speed , so i put the injectors in and tried it tried it and it turned a little bit then stopped and turned a little bit and stopped until the terminales started burning . The engine turns alright by hand without the injectors and and with the injectors it start to turn alright but then gets hard and for a bit then easy . I noticed today that there was no hydraulic oil in the gearbox . could that be why it's stiff ?
Thanks for the help it's really appriciated .

The fact that the terminals got hot means that there is considerable resistance in the terminals. So, look at cleaning or replacing the terminals is your next order of business. The voltage drop to the starter would keep it from having enough torque to overcome the compression once you installed the injectors and sealed up the pistons.

The lack of hydraulic oil in teh gear box shouldn't hinder the engine spinning, but it won't be good for it if the engine should start.

Here's some photos of the cylinders . i've put coke in the cylinders to get rid of the rust . What do you think ? Would they be alright to run just fora bit to test the tractor or does it need new cylinders . How should i get rid of the rust on the cylinders ?Thanks
