The more I look into this, the more confusing it is.
My 1983 B6100E Kubota´s rear PTO shaft rotates CW as viewed from the rear of the tractor? It is 1 3/8" diameter with 6 splines and turns 514, 870 and 1498 RPM at 2800 RPM engine rotation
It has never been used but, if I should want to, is this a standard PTO that will work with most implements? It seems like I often hear that this model's PTO rotates in reverse from standard.
Usually, PTO discussions refer to a rotation direction but are not clear as to the viewing direction. Wikipedia says CCW as viewed from the tractor and I take this as CW as viewed from the rear of the tractor. If this is correct, then most implements want to be rotated CCW as viewed from their PTO input.
Help clear this up for me.
