I have a 5 year old SC2400 that recently started dying under load. Will idle all day long. After about 20 minutes of heavy use acts like it runs out of fuel. Have conditioned the fuel, soaked up any excess moisture in tank. Drained the water separator/changed the filter/replaced the fuel filter, still same conditions. The fuel pump does not make the same loud clicking it used to make. What test/s are available to diagnose the issue. Was told possibly a second fuel pump?? NEED HELP. Want to trade to a new Brand.....

Hi and welcome. You can use an ohm meter to test the fuel pump to see if the coils are burned out.

Change the fuel filter again. A cheap check. New one may have clogged immediately in cold temps. Also, try warming the filter several minutes with a hairdrier when it happens. -- A semi clogged filter will slowly collapse under the hier flow required by load conditions, lessening its surface area and flow capability -- a chain reaction.
