I got it off one of those EBay stores. Shopped around a lot, their price was cheapest. I think the name was Concrete Depot.com. I bought (1-case) 4 gallons of stain ($179?) 2-5 gallan cans of sealer ($94 Each). The sample kit was something like $20. You have to keep an eye on what the shipping costs are, I think there are some epa restrictions on how acid stain can be shipped. I found some pretty big variance in the what companies were charging for the shipping.

Did you consider the snap together laminates? There are some cheap one and some very good ones. Some look like tile, others look like wood, etc.

Just put down Shaw brand in kitchen at relative's, looks like tile. It is extra thick because we didn't like the thin stuff that gives when you walk on it. Looks nice!

We are considering the snap together stuff for a couple of the rooms.

I bought the Quicrete brand stain from Lowes and would strongly recomend you avoid it.

We were looking to experiment and thought it was a name brand that would do the job for minimal expense. We followed the directions, used all their materials and took our time to get it right.

The finished look was just what we wanted.

Unfortunately it didn't realy stain the concrete, but is more of a finish that chips off.

Next time I'll look at the more profesional stains from a specialized store and avoid the box stores all together.
