Built this so that I could get low and under the tong when it is on the ground. Also don't have to grab the forks.

the other one is at a 45 this one is at ?, think you could get away with another 45, I just matched what was on the bucket.
The handle/bar on the top is a must, its heavy and makes much easier to move around
Everything is powder coated.

Corners are an issue no matter what system you use. Look up Faraday cage effect. You have to kind of 'force' the powder in the corners.

Be careful when lifting heavier trailers. I have repaired/rebuilt 4 different ssqa's that have been twisted because to much force has been applied to one face. It really needs to span both side to prevent damage.

I hear you. Moving around empty trailers it should be fine. On the heavier stuff I use the ball in the forks
