Tractor
Mahindra 25xl
Long time lurker. First time posting. I'm having issues with putting SSQA brackets on my tractor. The brackets that I bought offline are to short to fit snug in the plates on the implement. They leave about 1"-2" gap on the bottom when hooked on the implements. I have looked and the plates on my implements are the standard SSQA size.
The measurements on all the tractor brackets that I can find online are not correct. The back flat part needs to be roughly 16" and overall hight should be roughly 18". I attached a picture of the measurements of the ones I'm finding online. Has anyone else had this issue. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information! I may just have to modify the ones I have. I can't believe it's so hard to find a a set of weld on brackets for the tractor that fit tight. Does anyone have any they have used that worked out well?

+1 If they don't fit, send them back and get something correct. ruffdog posted links to the specs. They are readily available to double check on the web, too.

I bought this exact SSQA w/ the 3/8 plate. I have about a 1/4" gap at the bottom.
The same 1/4" gap with a new skid steer bucket.
I'm going to tack in a plate to fill that gap.
I'll measure mine and see if I have the same dimensions.

Why fix it? Return it and get something that is correct. No good reason to encourage defective crap to be made...

I purchased a set of SSQA adapters online that are the size pictured. I also purchased the SSQA plates for 3 different attachments. Everything fits as it should, there is about a 3/8" gap at the bottom as it should. The only issue I had was the springs that put pressure against the pins to hold the bucket in place were weak and I replaced them with OEM Bobcat springs and everything's works as it should.

I am curious as to why you think there should be a 3/8" gap. That would bother me and I would shim it. In my mind there should be no gap in any of 3 places (see arrows); between face of SSQA adapter and SSQA plate, between face of pin and SSQA plate slot, and between angled surface of SSQA plate and adapter for a proper fit.

I bought my conversion stuff from Vevor, on sale.
I had to covert my loader for DuAl quick attach to SSQA, (quite a bit of thinking) and someone gave me a 30 yer old kubota bucket that I had to cut the pin-on brackets and stiffener off to add the QA plate.
Having everything fit tight/perfect is not as critical as having the attachment LOCK ON tight to the loader.
Every attachment I have has a slight different width, AND is 'slightly' different where the locking pins go into.
