Kubota L 3800
When I got my tractor I got the pin on loader. Now years gone by I want to get a ssqa set up. I've seen them going for $ 1000 and up and that is more than I want to spend. Titan sells assqua conversion for $400 or so but they are JD only. I don't want to give them measurements to make one for my L3800, I'd rather just order one and put it on. I am thinking of getting all the ssqa implements from the same place thinking that they should go on and off with less trouble I don't have access to a. fab shop anymore so cutting fitting and welding is out.

I have one and very happy with the set-up.I do believe there is some welding involved, not a bolt on.I change from bucket to forks to a snow plow.I have a Green's Machine thumb on my bucket;best thing ever.

Look again at Palletforks.com (Titan) their quick attach conversion is not just JD only.

For my L3400 with L463 loader I was able to purchase the L2230A quick attach adapter from my local dealer. It bolted right on, and I had no issue with my cylinders contacting anything at full roll forward.

I tried to search L3800 quick attach conversion and didn't find something similar but maybe if you search with your loader model number you can find something right from the Kubota dealer that bolts on.

I'd second the W.R. Long recommendation have bought a round-back bucket & tooth bar from them through my local dealer ... definitely happy with the quality of work on both items.

edit: ....and will likely buy additional implements from them in the future.

I converted my L3800 (LA524 Loader) by buying the loader arm part from my Kubota dealer. I then bought a bare SSQA plate from Titan and modified my bucket myself. It wasn't that difficult of a job if you have a torch and welder. It was the best modification I ever made. I use pallet forks as much as I use a bucket.

I bought one of these shown in the link several years ago when I had a Kubota B3030 cabbed. Had a local farmer who was a good welder cut the mounts off my bucket and weld a SSQA plate to it. The adapter itself either bolted or pinned to the existing structure on the lift arms, no welding for that part of it.
It was handy but heavy and set the load out in front of the loader arms several inches, thus reducing lift capacity.

I've since moved on to a skid steer with power Bob Tach.

My L3800 had ssqa. How much for the Kubota ssqa part? Probably the quickest, easiest and most expensive option.

I think the Kubota SSQA part was around $500, the bare SSQA plate was another $100.

My L3400 was used for mowing, and the previous owner, shortly before he sold it, bought a Kubota loader and, from the looks of it, the Kubota SSQA kit, which he installed. There was some cutting and welding involved. By someone, if not the owner. Anyway, it is so useful that I would not have a tractor without it. Like an earlier poster, I use mine for the bucket or a snowplow. If I were younger, I'd also have pallet forks, but at my age, they'd probably not get enough use to justify spending the money.

I see this is a year old post, but, planning to do the same myself. How did it work out?

Did you use the WR long weld on adapter plates for the bucket?

Do they conform to the curve of the bucket or are they flat?

My L48 came with the WR Long SSQA loader mount and the SSQA mount square 72" Kubota bucket. I have never used the loader without the WR Long gear, but it seems to work well with my bucket, the EA 60" Root Rake Grapple and my EA forks.

The roll geometry seems to be a little different from the pin on bucket on my JD 855, though I would not be able to describe the difference without having both machines running and rolling one, then the other. Even then I don't know if I am a good enough writer to describe the difference accurately.

Anyhow, I am getting used to it and definitely really. like the interchangeability.
