Squeeky Loader

Hello,
I have a question regarding my Koyker 120 loader on my F22D. It makes a "squeeking" sound everytime I lower the loader but not when I lift it . It kinda sounds like when you turn your Car tires on smooth garage cement like a parking garage. Is this just the seals? Do I need to lubricate the piston arms? The loader is brand new, has about 5hours of use.

You do not need to lubricate the "piston arms" [cylinder rods?], when the cylinders are retracted they are bathed in oil. Each pivot point should have a grease fitting though, I am not sure how Koyker does it, but sometimes the grease zerk is in the end of the pin, sometimes in the middle of the of the pin section, and sometimes next to the end of the pin. I would make sure that each pivot pin was greased. There are several of them both ends of the loader arms (lift pivot and bucket pivot), both ends of the hydraulic cylinders (the cylinders may or may not have grease fittings).

Beyond that it may just simply be "brand squeaky new." However, I suspect it needs grease.

Or something may be loose, allowing for part of the assembly to rub. Check everything for tightness (EVERY bolt and pin) and grease the fitting in the middle of each pin where cylinders attach.

Lastly, are you sure it's not a squeal, such as the hydraulics struggling?

I had the same prob. One of the fittings on the lift arms was int taking grease. Make sure that when you grease it that grease does not end op on the outside of the fitting. If it does remove the fitting and replace it or clean it.

Thanks everyone, I will check all bolts and pins for tightness and make sure the grease is getting in. Hopefully i find something loose or ungreased and the problem dissapears.
