Spring Ahead, Fall Back

I'm still not finished changing all my clocks. I still have the garage, two car radios and the barn left. And then, there's always a couple more that pop up several days later, like my camera's built-in clock, telephone answering machine and the like. I really hate these time shifts.

There is something wrong with your life if you need that many clocks - and gadgets. Slow down and forget time.

I have never in my life used a clock on a microwave but set the time hundreds of times, otherwise it would not cook food. I have a routine where I just punch quickly punch in ones and twos, not caring if the time and date are right, just as long as the unit operates. Do manufacturers not see the stupidity in this? At least, have an option to shut it off, if they somehow think an appliance needs yet one more clock.

Hmmmm... Might want to pitch the microwave. Ours could care less what time the clock says. But then all we are doing is program cooking in regards to what the item is, not programmed to come on at a certain time. If cooking that way,,,,, doesn't the food get kinda old and stale while it's waiting for the appropriate time to fire up???? :)

Even my Stanley door openers have clocks. All three of them! For whatever reason. This latest time change has been particularly tiring.

DST is high on my list of things that I do not care for.... right between auto-dimming rear view mirrors and carpet in a truck...
