Spraying texture on OSB

inside of a shop, want the durability of OSB on the walls and ceiling but wouldnt mind a little texture blown on, anyone done this or seen it done? Textured a lot of sheetrock in my days and have the texture gun but cant say Ive ever done OSB. Reading about it on the net it appears it can be done and is not all that unusual but wanted to check here to see if anyone had any real experience with it. Will be painted regardless of texture or not.

Paint it first....and probably a couple coats for OSB. Sheetrock is supposed to be primed first, or the texture tends to want to peel off.
