I think you might be right. I was thinking about replacing the old wooden tank with a couple of plastic 55 gal drums.

That reminds me of when I was younger. I worked on a fruit farm and we had a sprayer built in the 40s. A 4-wheel wagon with a wodden tank (just like that one only larger) and a 4-cylinder gas motor with a big pump. We stood atop the tank and sprayed the orchard while it was pulled by a Farmall M. When I think of all the arsenic and lead that I srayed around, it's a wonder I don't have three heads. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
