Spare tire

   / Spare tire #21
I've used Slime tubeless and tubed. The tubeless still punctured and leaked down eventually. The tubed ones haven't yet. The main reason I tube is because the tires leak at the rims, not punctures. Tubes eliminate the rim seal problem. I run low pressure, around 8 pounds, a lot of the time to get around in the sand and forest floor. I've never been stuck. But I did manage to spin the tire off the rims a few times until I tubed them.

It looks very promising. I may have to look into it. Picking up the spare on Monday so we'll see if it fits right.

With the Gemplers and Slime, do you have to use it in tubes or tubeless, or both?

Mine are in tubeless and working great.

I've had gemplers bulletproof in my tires for over 10 years now.......never had a flat after having three flats in the first month of owning the machine.....just replaced the valve stems as the sealant does gum them up but thats only a couple of dollars and a couple of minutes to do........warning.......do not sit in front of the tire when removing the stems.......please don't ask me how I know this...............Jack

I have used this for years and have never had to add air: Bulletproof-Grade Tire Sealant | GEMPLER'S
