I wish the cops would actually enforce the laws on those ignorant dirtbags who feel justified to consistently dump their snow on the public roads.

If we get a heavy snow fall and I've plowed my driveway & mailbox area - the county plow will drop the "side board" and not dump into either area. Otherwise, here come da plow. Only a couple times has it made much of any difference. It's just so very seldom that we get much more than 8" to 10" at any one time.

Wow, a guy who pushes his snow across a public roadway and DOESNT leave 1 foot deep berms.

Yes, I hate that too. I make sure when I do do it, I don't even leave anything as I push. And our road maintenance is horrible here. Everyone here has been fighting with the MTO, the road board and the government all winter. So I make a point of keeping the road scraped down to ashallt across my whole frontage while the rest of the road is a disaster, LOL.

Every morning when I come home from work I am pulling people out of the ditches with my dump truck. Then people see the way my driveway is sanded, LOL.

No measurable snow here. Losing my shirt on snowplow contracts.

Yes, this year has to hurt eh? We don't do any commercial plowing any more, but I know here, plowing insurance went up considerably this last year. Then you add on the fact no one is making any money this year.
I usually go haul snow for the city every winter under their big snow blowers taking the snow banks away to open the lanes back up. Last couple winters we worked double shifts for just over 3 months straight. This winter I got one week of single shifts with them.

I can usually count on a minimum 5 figure income on snow removal and this year it’s ZERO (so far). Snow is usually over in MY area about 3/15.
Not much time left.
At this point if it’s not going to snow, I figure it might as well be warm and get some other outside work going....
