Some BX Rock/Thumb work.

I'm finally getting the swing of the new thumb.
I dug out several rocks this size...

Then this rock I was able to lift out of the hole, but the boom wouldn't budge when I tried to lift it. I was able to drag it about 10 feet; the tractor had it almost off the ground. I then picked it up with the FEL and it was straining to lift it. It must have been in the 500-600 pound range.

Yeah you would definitely notice that one in your shoe...
Thumbs are awesome. Glad to see your BX is no worse for wear and that you're back in business. Try to keep it on all 4 tires this time 'round

Yeah, from the pictures you would think I was trying to roll it the other way: end to end!

You want to be carefull draging anything with the back hoe as there is no pressure relief valve on the cylinders. Wouldn't take much to bend a cylinder rod or dipper arm.
