I'm going with an A+ on these things with extra mention for the post hole digger. Make anything else?

Do the tines have to be hardened on the manure forks or does the extra thickness compensate?
Again, great workmanship and good looking welds.

A+++ Great work! How long did it take you to make the bale fork?

Those sure are some nice looking welds. I did not open up your pictures the first time I looked at your thread, but now that I did, WOW! Where did you learn to weld like that?

Thanks

It probably would be better and stronger, but these were 25mm bars, 30mm might have been better, bought forks even more, but I wanted to keep it low budget since this attachment is only in use 1 time in a year.
They did the job nicely, and I did play them hard ! Only 2 bent a little getting stuck on a piece of wooden beam that got stuck in when I drove full throttle into the pile. But that was my own mistake. Rebend them and they're good to go again.

Umm, it was prepping some hours after work, then welding up. So if you have the material, cutting, drilling and welding would take less then a day if you have some (little) skills and can take some time for it.

Yah Tom , I dont think a guy gets a hand that steady welding only for himself. And probably not in a year either. Is that a high frequency MIG?

Scons if thats just one year I'd sure like to see what you've done in other years.

You can get 70cm manure tines for 12.50 a piece. Hardened tines have a yield strength of 1000-1200 n/mm2 where mild steel only has 235n/mm.

That's pretty much the time I got into welding. But it's not me, it's the equiptment that earns the compliments.
