Snow Snow Plowing with 430 FEL

I'll throw out another question. Does anybody know if the 84" high capacity bucket from the 300cx FEL will fit the mounting points of the 430 FEL?

They have a dealer inquire button.
I see they don't publish their prices any more, guess this gives the dealer more leverage,so to speak. My dealer installed mine as part of the deal. The cost was $2150, including heater. The heater won't roast you out, but does make it warm enough. I turn one louver toward me and one toward the windshield , and the bottom one toward my feet. I lost the Arctic clothing. I have been using it all winter with the back open, no curtain. Turns out, I put it away last summer, so I could find it(CRS). The wife stumbled on to it a couple of days ago.

The snow arrived and was very wet here and it was a bucket by bucket removal. I thought or assumed I could sneak into spring and then buy the blade in the summer when money is better but it looks like assume was the wrong way to think again.. How much did Southern Maine get..Here we had 10" wet or what is that without the rain???

Ib, I spent about 2 hrs clearing mine. That is the worst of it but I will have to do some tomorrow AM I suspect. It is still snowing and we have probably gotten in the 12" range anyway. It wasn't sopping wet but quite damp and sticky. At least it wasn't freezing cold although when I get off after two hours it takes me a while to straighen up!!

I have a couple of hundred feet of hilly gravel driveway with a two house turnaround at the end, as well as another hill to climb to the quanset hut. My 4300 has an extended bucket as well as a rear blade THAT SWIVELS 360deg. I make my first passes in reverse with the blade slightly angled then clean up any leftovers with the bucket. (I also have a 5' rear mount snow blower that hasn't been used in three years.) When pushing in reverse you can see where the edge of the blade is and get a lot closer than doing it by dragging the blade behind. Just remember that the bucket will swing into the side of your cut edge when you turn.
I have a buddy with a plow on his 1/2 ton that does me a "favour" by dropping the blade when he comes to visit...I then go out and clean up after he leaves. My 2cents worth

That would be ideal if I could get someone with a Truck and Plow to make one swipe down by road and all I would have to do is the clean up. The FEL Bucket on a long straight tarred driveway leaves so much clean up. I thought about a rear blade but at my age it is too hard turning around. I do well just by plowing straight a head someday as once the chill sets in you cant move as quick as the 4310 does.
I all ready took a piece of trim off my garage and cleaned out some of wife's flower bed. I will a lot of explaining to do once spring gets here. That story I told her about why the 4310 was so much better for me then the 4100 won't hold salt once she finds all damage I have done so far in just one month. The 4310 is so much more tractor then the 4100.

Good Morning

I use my 4310 with the FEL and back blade at the same time. Therefore, the mess that the FEL makes, is cleaned up by the rear blade, all done while driving forward.
