awesome build.

do you have any photos of how you mounted the plow frame (black parts) to the tractor mount that you fabricated (gray parts)?

i personally agree completely with using the loader valve. lift, float and down-pressure for scraping ice and hard-pack.

ATV plows vary greatly in build and quality. i use a 5' Warn that is plenty strong for my BX.

Nice work on your project.. in regards to the lift cylinder and hitting something, yes float works but the whole plow has trip springs so unless it's locked, you should be good.. looked like you made it ~3~ years without a problem. I did a similar project back when I got my BX24.. I converted over the plow set up from my JD, and the nice thing about it is that it's quick attach/detatch. I have pics and a write up on it here but that's years ago now.

Nice to see someone else go through all the bother to do this, still not sure if it was worth all the time and effort, but that's how most of my projects are!

You might consider a 3pt hitch blower and keep your plow on.. this way you can use BOTH @ the same time (sort of) and it would be ab excellent ballast!
