Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Snow Is Coming!!!

Time for the Weekly Wednesday snow storm.

Sounds like here a few years back. My daughter's Theatre on Ice team practiced Wed mornings at 5:40. EVERY freakin' Wed it would be bad weather. Snow storm, ice, whatever. NEVER on Tuesday, NEVER on Thursday, ALWAYS on Wednesday.

Not a single flake on the ground way at the top of Northern Maine.

None yet, just warmer than usual and, now, rain. And it's the end of Nov! Maybe Dec will come in like a lion...

Here in the interior of British Columbia we do expect snow soon. We have had some, but so far no need to bring out the machines. However, if it does snow we are ready with our JD 4310, loader, and eight foot back blade. If we get a major snow fall we can back that up with our JD 450 C track loader.

Well ive done some snow plowing with tracked dozer in the past, and i really tore up the ground as the gravel road wasnt frozen yet.....even with street tread on it...

We haven't had much snow to speak of yet this season. Probably only 6" so far. If December comes in like a lion, we're in trouble. Because it's been such a mild fall, the waters of Lake Erie are staying relatively warm, 4 degrees above normal. A sudden cold snap means we get pummeled with lake effect snow for a longer period of time.
