I am jealous. We have had 16" here in Northern Indiana this December but never more than 4-5" at a time. We did get some snow on Christmas eve and day but only another 2" at most. I would guess we have 7" on the ground at this time.

I have got to plow 4 times this year but to be honest my customers really did not need it for only 4" at at time but most are elderly and I worry about them falling so I do all 10 of them even if they dont pay me each and every time. The younger clients only get plowed if I get a phone call. It works out in the end and I got some good Christmas gifts from some of my older clients like Sweat Shirts and a new pair of glove. It may be a hint. They figure if I am warm I will stay out longer.

I've been waiting for a good snow storm to use the new tractor. Heated cab, front snow plow, just put the stereo/cd in last week and I'm ready. Forecast says 10-12 inches with 45-50 mph winds. Bring it.

Sounds like you will be comfortable.

We got about 8" or so here in Dinwiddie, VA. I had to drive to work today in it but will play tomorrow ;)

So, the snow is coming down hard. The FEL works great!!! It sure beats shoveling. The unloaded-unchained r4's spun, but were not too bad. Have some video, but I'm still trying to convert it...

What a waste! Last night they were calling for 8-12 inches... We don't even have an inch on the ground here in Annapolis Maryland. Time to fire some of these so called weather forecasters!

We are getting the first snow of the season tomorrow!!! 5"-10"!!! :dance1:
Can't wait to use the tractor!!! I'll be sure to post pics...;)

Trust me, the novelty wears off :) Syracuse, NY - we had 73 inches in the 1st two weeks of dec, I plowed every day for 8 days straight. Haven't had a flake now for the last week or so and I'm ok with that!! (It is fun on the weekends though when I can do it at my leisure. Not so much fun getting up an hour early before work to go plow).

Boy, that is the nasty in it right there. But, you are doing what needs to be done. Good on you.

I went to a metal roof a couple winters ago. You should consider it.

I lost a garage to the heavy snow and ice 2 or 3 years ago.

Hang in there...

Weatherman out of Portland now says 10 to 16 inches by days end tomorrow.

We don't even clear that amount - just drive over it a few times to pack it down and get a good base :)

I also got the Go Pro HD Hero for Xmas. Where are you planning to mount yours? I was thinking on the ROPS or the Hood.

I have a headgear mount and a chest mount because I'm a bicycle rider. I did order the suction cup mount that is good for 200 mph. I think that will be the best for the tractor when it comes in. I will also use my other camera on the tripod and see what I can come up with editing.
