Mowing snapper uneven cut

I have a Snapper 28 inch rear engine rider that cuts uneven. The deck is 2 inches from cement front, back, and side to side. The blade is I/2 inch from bottom lip of deck all around. Blade not bent. It has a mulching kit with a ninja type blade which is sharp. The deck is clean underneath. When I mow, the result is good cut on right side and partial cut or knocked down grass on left. I have switched back to stock hi-lift blade and mow without mulch with same results. Help!

I had a similar mower with that problem a few years ago. My final attempt at a fix was to cut the discharge opening a little bigger, to see if improved air flow might help. It didn't. Never did figure out what the problem was, and the dealer had no clue, either.

Snapper's motto at the time was something like "once you buy a Snapper, you'll
never buy another mower". I think what they meant to say was "another SNAPPER".

It just dawned on me that it may be worthwhile to try running this by the Snapper group in the Lawn & Garden forum.:laughing:
