Thank you for the chance to join your group! I am a new member with a question about what I can use in the transmission of my old snapper comet riding mower? SNAPPER AND OREGON wants a small fortune for their 00 semi grease is there a substitute for that use to use 80/90 gear oil they say that will run out of the plugs but mine as lasted 40 years and is still going I am currently rebuilding everything on it and a new paint job. Welcome, 40 years using Snapper 00 grease? Prorate it is it worth the chance? Actually Snapper grease is not what it used to be with graphite in it. I get from Stens which is high but not as high as where you are talking.
