Smart sheep:)

I was cleaning up my computer and found this photo of our very clever sheep. It took me quite a while to set her lose.

When we are called god's sheep, it certainly is nothing positive

That kind of reminds me of one of my dogs. He was always getting caugh up in fences. Sometimes he was trying to get out, and other times, he was trying to get back in.

I had to free a colt in the same situation once, only he hadn't gotten his head through the wire to stop him from moving.
I guess he'd been rubbing against the cross brace and slipped under it and when he stood back up, was trapped between the wire and the brace.
I guess he wasn't bright enough to know that he could just "squat" down and get out.
He just kept walking forward and backward until I found him.
The wire had dang near every hair rubbed off of his hip.
Last I heard "Ol Bald Butt" was doing fine and made a pretty good horse.

Once I found my airedale stuck in the burn pile. Dogs are always working the burn pile searching for mice or whatever and his collar got stuck on a stick and he just stood there waiting to be released

Years back we found young doe stuck in sheep fence...slow and easy w/good grip on her she still was a handful to set free...and animals do have there ways of saying thank you.
