Heres a link to an MFG in the UK that makes nice attachments. I have made a bucket like this one. It works good trenching gumbo Clay down south. Once you get down the trench makes the sides of the bucket. These are easy to make.

I just made a template of my bucket and put it on the table burner and made the ears. I welded the sides and edge on the bucket and top. I tacked on the back then rolled it with the hoe.

I'm losing track of who has built what on TBN, but that looks similar to another bucket I saw in another thread here.

I'm getting the vibe that I'd better not just cut down my existing bucket if I want to be able to dump clay out of it.

My homemade 8" bucket has no flare. The post above that shows the Whites buckets, that's what you want if you are under 16", in my opinion.
