A few of you may remember a post I made around 3 weeks ago. I was at a small tractor show in Eustis and saw a fellow setting up some jinma's at the show. Ended up he had a bit of an anger management problem and 'fast-talker-syndrome'.

Well a funny thing happened yesterday. I got home and there was a call on my answering machine from an older gentleman who lived in webster. He has a restaurant there and had been approached by a fellow selling chineese tractors, in order to use his excess parking lot space as 'show space'. He had a funny feeling about the guy due to the fact that he sounded like a used car salesman, and didn't have any concrete info. So this guy starts hunting around on the internet.. finds this sub and starts reading it.. sees my post, and sees that I'm also in central florida, and figures that the salesman I ran into might be the same one he ran into.. so he looked my name & number and calls me.

We talked tractors for a while, and I eventually found the flyer that the salesman in eustis gave me.. sure enough.. same guy! What a small world!

I see the 'salesman' is at least consistant, in that he is giving off 'odd' vibes to other people as well.. and it just wasn't me.

Soundguy, I'm sure you did your best to dispell the restuarant owners feelings and let him know what a swell guy the salesman was! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It's too bad so many "dealers" of China tractors are "back yard" salesmen. The KAMA dealer Chip here on this board seams to run a fine biz. I will soon be ordering one of his KAMA 454s.

Chris,

I saw you just bought another Ford with that one arm. If you ever go with a China tractor, check out the KAMA. They appear to be built on older technoligy and are heavy enough to use their Hp.

Older tech is fine. Most of the ford stuff has tech that dates back to late 30's

That 660 I got actually has some neat options... for being a 50 year old tractor. It has a 2 stage clutch, and could have had PS.. though mine doesn't.
